JOSKI to play CLUB SMASH!
JOSKI have set up their OWN gig night! Club Smash! in order to make sure they play a gig each month. "We wanted a residency in a top London venue - so we set up our own club", says Joski, "We got fed up with the 'You must bring 30 people or pay us the difference! for your measly half hour set' so we thought why give money to these pay-to-play carpetbaggers? - We will put our own night on and give bands a 40 minute set with excellent backline and support"
JOSKI's first Club Smash! event at The Comedy Pub is on Monday 20th July -
7 Oxendon St, Piccadilly, London SW1Y 4EE
doors open 7:00
£6 to get in or £5 with flyer (see below).

JOSKI on the radio!
JOSKI are being broadcast world-wide on in Chicago. 'Howard Roark' is being rotated on the United Kingdom Rock channel and 'Whadya Want' is being rotated on the UK Pop channel!
IMRadio is the International Music station for Independant Musicians and music from all round the world is played on internet air! 'Howard Roark' is on again at 6pm GMT and 'Whadya Want' is on this arvo at 3:15PM
To find our songs on IMRadio just select:
'Location - United Kingdom' and 'Genre - Rock' (or 'Pop' for 'Whadya Want').
Because our music is so varied we are also going to have tracks on the Progressive Rock channel too! Have a listen and enjoy! |

New JOSKI drummer announced!
Joski are very happy to welcome Xande to the JOSKI fold as our new drummer!
Xande is a top drummer with excellent rock feel and with wide experience in Latin music and rythmns. His strong style and brilliant control make him an excellent stickman.
We are rehearsing now for gigs which may be sooner than you think!

Joski could release 7 inch vinyl single in May!
"We love the format and it will help our EP launch" say Joski
It may prove an expensive option but Joski believe music is sometimes a physical experience - like going to a gig - and although listening to downloads is great but you don't get the actual item in your mitts to hold or stick on the wall.
"We remember singles from when we were kids and the covers and colours were fab" says Jenty

New JOSKI EP!
Joski are planning to release an EP in early 2009 (Release date to be set). The EP will be recorded at Ne Plus Ultra studios in East London and will feature four tracks. There may be a bonus track too - only available on the CD version.
Fans will be able to download the tracks for free - or buy a limited edition CD box with number and printed cover and lyric sheet together with other goodies to be announced.
Initial reports are that there will only be 333 copies of this special edition boxed EP.
Songs confirmed to be included are:
"I know we're from the stars" is a new song recently finished but not yet recorded. It features some cool singing and acoustic guitar before stepping up into a blast of a song with some neat bass from Kukat. At two minutes 30 secs it is another short, sharp song with great scene setting and dynamics - a real must have!
